Composting conventional and organic manure

Conventional and organic manure is supplied to the manure processing site in Asten and processed in three production halls. The composting process releases a lot of heat, which causes a sharp increase in the temperature in the composting tunnels. The temperature is maintained at a minimum of 70°C for at least one hour. This process evaporates the water from the raw material, which considerably shrinks the mass and volume of the manure that is being composted. After this heat treatment (pasteurisation), the product has been hygenised. The result is extremely dry, high quality fertiliser.

Organic soil improvers

The processes at Eraspo’s production facility enable homogeneous, natural, high-quality products to be produced all year round. The end products contain a higher dry matter content and more minerals per ton. Eraspo-products are available in various standard variants as well as in custom-made blends and are exported all over the world.

Custom-made products for environmentally conscious fertilising

In addition to the range of soil improvers, Eraspo offers distinctive added value through its custom-made products. During the composting process minerals can be added to the blend. Depending on the specific profile of the customer’s soil, the product can be enriched with, for example, potassium or magnesium.

Custom-made products from Eraspo are ideal for environmentally conscious fertilising systems. The residual heat is reused in the production process and the lower frequency of transport movements needed to apply the right minerals to the soil reduces CO2 emissions.
